Whether it’s a complex piece of equipment or a simple explanation, the staff at The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (TCH) treats young patients with the very best of care.
The only comprehensive children's hospital between Tampa and Miami, located within HealthPark Medical Center, our dedicated team is always ready to care for the smallest of patients.
There’s a saying that children aren’t little adults, and that’s really true when it comes to medical care. From our emergency area to our operating and recovery rooms, we have physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses who have specific pediatric training, and who treat children all day long. These are caregivers and professionals who have dedicated their entire careers to caring for pediatric patients. Everyday and night you can see the staff’s passion to care, treat and heal these young patients.
With 230 employees, 61 pediatric specialists on medical staff, and 1,000 volunteers, we are Southwest Florida's only regional Children’s Hospital. Our hospitals includes: a Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center (RPICC) for high risk pregnancies; Level III NICU for premature babies; and nationally certified Children's Cancer Center. Our RPICC Center boasts the No. 1 outcomes in the state for infant survival rates for the last four years!
In addition to the medical staff, The Children’s Hospital features an abundance of team members who are dedicated to the care of children, including pediatric social workers, psychologists, dietitians, physical therapists, music therapists, a full-time schoolteacher and Child Life specialists. Additionally, our Pediatric Emergency Room includes neonatal/pediatric ambulance service.
The Children’s Hospital also advocates for children throughout Southwest Florida, supporting and participating in a variety of children’s issues and programs.
The Children’s Hospital is a member of the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions and the Association of Florida Children’s Hospitals.
