The Greater Naples area is served by two major hospital systems: NCH Healthcare System and Physicians Regional Healthcare System.

NCH Healthcare System

NCH became the first hospital in Florida and only the seventh in the nation to be selected as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, following a comprehensive evaluation process. NCH and Mayo Clinic will be working together to bring new access to knowledge and expertise to southwest Florida for patients, physicians and our community.

NCH’s medical staff is outstanding and its quality has been recognized over the last decade with more than 100 awards. It’s the only system in the region to be recognized—twice—as one of the top hospitals in the nation by U. S. News and World Report. Its considered among the top 10% in the nation for cardiac surgery by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons; one of 215 hospitals in the nation and one of only five in Florida as being “Most Wired” in information technology; and the recipient of many other awards recognizing quality and safety.

Physicians Regional Healthcare System

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is comprised of two premier hospitals in Collier County with 201 licensed beds, an affiliated multispecialty physician group, and a medical staff of over 300 physicians who are highly trained and exceptionally skilled within their fields. The Healthcare System offers vital services such as Neurovascular, Stroke and Orthopaedics to the Naples Community.

The Collier Boulevard hospital is a 212,400 square-foot, 100-bed acute care facility, accredited by The Joint Commission. The Collier Boulevard campus also includes a 94,000 square-foot medical office building. The Pine Ridge campus is a 365,000 square-foot, 101-bed acute care facility accredited by The Joint Commission. This landmark facility has been in the Southwest Florida community since 1999. It was originally opened as Cleveland Clinic, as a satellite location. In May 2006, the facility was purchased by Health Management, a leading national operator of acute care hospitals and was given the name Physicians Regional Medical Center.
