
A Short Report to CIVIC Members

CIVIC hosted this week three visitors from Galapagos
Islands in Ecuador. Fishery Cooperative Manager
Kleber Lopez, Biologist Maryuri Yepez and Agronomist
Carlos Zapata, wanted to learn about Ecotourism,
Resource Management, National Parks and development
issues. They were helped by translator Alethea Hanna.
They visited Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research
Reserve and Corkscrew Swamp and met with several
official involved in Nature preservation.
As I spent some time on Monday
with our guests, I wanted to share with you some
graphic memories of their agenda. Click on the thumbnail
