Ecuadorian Visitors
A Short Report to CIVIC Members
By: Luis Bernal
Posted: March 14, 2007

CIVIC hosted this week three visitors from Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. Fishery Cooperative Manager Kleber Lopez, Biologist Maryuri Yepez and Agronomist Carlos Zapata, wanted to learn about Ecotourism, Resource Management, National Parks and development issues. They were helped by translator Alethea Hanna. They visited Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and Corkscrew Swamp and met with several official involved in Nature preservation.

As I spent some time on Monday with our guests, I wanted to share with you some graphic memories of their agenda. Click on the thumbnail images to view the larger photograph.
