Event Description: This is an opportunity to meet and network with other individuals who have been downsized out of local businesses. This is not a job placement service. The goal of the group is to provide skills, support, best practices and structure to the outplaced workforce of Collier County. This group is best suited to white collar, administrative and professional workers, rather than trade and service workers. The emphasis will be on networking, resumes, interviewing skills and best practices for a successful transition. Weekly meetings offer structure and accountability to maintain the appropriate activity levels and information sharing to contribute to the success of all participants.

Participants need only come prepared to discuss who they are, what type of opportunity they seek, and what makes them the best candidate. Assistance will be available to those who are still working through these topics. Each session will offer an in-depth look at tools and critical elements for a successful transition.
