1. They listen more and talk less:
Good leaders realize they know a lot and seek to know even more by listening. Good leaders ask many curious questions (How something is done, what do you like about it, what you learned from it, and what you need to improve).
2. They increase behaviors that build trust:
Trust is a pillar of good leadership. Trusting behaviors include creating transparency, confronting reality, clarifying expectations, and listening first.
3. They know when to admit being wrong:
Good leaders operate on humility and are secure in admitting when they're wrong, made a mistake, or don't have all the answers. Finding out what is right is more important than being right.
4. They share their power:
Good leaders release control, share their power to unleash discretionary effort and liberate others to do amazing work.
5. They put their integrity on full display:
Good leaders make choices aligned with their character. They have an orientation toward the truth; they operate from honesty, embrace change, reject wrongdoing, and get real results. "Do the right thing even when no one is looking," especially when the choice isn't easy.
Which of these leadership habits do you want to make as your most important focus to become the best leader for yourself and your team and have more success on your big dream journey?
