Jason Hunter Korn selected as Greater Naples Chamber Chairman’s Award winner

Jason Hunter Korn, an attorney with Dentons Cohen Grigsby, has been named the recipient of the 2021 Greater Naples Chamber Chairman’s Award for his continued support of the Chamber’s mission.

Chamber Chairman Garrett Richter presented Korn with the award at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on May 21, 2021 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples.

The Chairman’s Award is an opportunity for the chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors to recognize an individual that helped the organization fulfill its mission of cultivating economic opportunity for all. The award honors someone who goes above and beyond, both in service to the Chamber and the community as a whole. The winner is selected by the chairman of the Greater Naples Chamber Board of Directors, in consultation with the president and CEO.

Korn has served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors since 2009, serving as the chairman of the Chamber’s nominating committee since 2016. In this role, Korn is responsible for overseeing the process of nominating new members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. He has also served on the Chamber’s public policy committee, education committee, and investor relations and development task force.

In addition to his work with the Greater Naples Chamber, Korn is involved in a variety of other local organizations including serving on the Gulfshore Playhouse Board of Directors. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Collier County, Southwest Florida Economic Development Alliance and Florida SouthWestern State College, then Edison State College.

Korn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Boston University School of Law. He is the former chairman of the Judicial Nominating Committee of the 20th Judicial Circuit, former president of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Collier County Bar Association, and the former president of the American Inns of Court, Collier County. He currently serves on The Florida Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee.

In addition to serving as the managing director of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby’s Florida Office, Korn also serves on the firm’s oversight and executive committee, the global advisory committee of Dentons, and as deputy general counsel.

The Chamber’s annual meeting celebrates the organization’s accomplishments with a variety of recognitions and honors. This year, more than 200 members of the Southwest Florida business community attended the reception and program celebrating the Chamber’s work to make Collier County the best place in America to live, work and play.
