Fostering Success
For more than 25 years, Fostering Success has empowered countless children, helping them navigate the challenges of the foster care system and build brighter futures. Fostering Success does through a variety of programs and opportunities that allow foster children to reach their full potential, including kindergarten preparation, tutoring provided by academic mentors, emergency supply kits, project enrichment activities, scholarships, as well as classes and assistance for those transitioning out of foster care.
In 2025, CEO Ann Hughes was honored as a Florida Hero by Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis in recognition of her tireless work on behalf of foster children in the community. As the only honoree from Collier County, Ann was among 62 heroes recognized at the Florida Heroes Reception, which celebrated individuals who demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving their communities. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its reach, providing essential resources, mentorship and advocacy to foster youth in Southwest Florida.
