Professional Bio
Adriana Buitrago serves as the Director of Workforce Initiatives for the Greater Naples Chamber, where she leads efforts to strengthen the talent pipeline by connecting employers, educators, students, and community partners throughout Southwest Florida. Her work focuses on developing workforce solutions that support career exploration, internships, work-based learning opportunities, talent retention, and employer engagement.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning workforce development, higher education, entrepreneurship, business consulting, marketing, and community engagement, Adriana brings a unique perspective to talent and economic development. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, she understands firsthand the challenges employers face in attracting, developing, and retaining talent. Prior to joining the Chamber, she held multiple leadership roles at Hodges University, including positions in admissions, institutional advancement, event management, and as Director of the Hispanic Institute.
Throughout her career, Adriana has been passionate about creating pathways to success through education, workforce readiness, and business growth. She works closely with local schools, colleges, universities, nonprofits, and employers to develop meaningful opportunities that prepare students and job seekers for the workforce while helping businesses address talent needs.
A strong advocate for collaboration, Adriana believes that sustainable workforce solutions are built through partnerships. She is committed to connecting education and industry, supporting entrepreneurship, and advancing initiatives that strengthen the regional economy and improve quality of life throughout Collier County and Southwest Florida.
Adriana earned her MBA from Hodges University and remains dedicated to empowering individuals, supporting employers, and fostering a thriving workforce for the future.
