Small Business Council

The Small Business Council (SBC) of the Greater Naples Chamber serves as a collaborative advisory group dedicated to supporting and strengthening the small business community in Collier County. Designed for businesses with fewer than 50 employees, the SBC provides valuable insight, feedback, and guidance on the unique opportunities and challenges facing small businesses today.

Reserved for Premier Members and Chamber Champion members, the council brings together engaged business leaders who are passionate about contributing to the growth and success of the Greater Naples business community. Eligible members will receive an invitation to participate following approval of their Greater Naples Chamber membership application.

The SBC meets quarterly and is led by Committee Chair and Board Member Michelle Borders, Owner of Naples Network Services. In addition to quarterly meetings, members enjoy biannual social gatherings that provide opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow business leaders in a more informal setting.

Serving as a direct connection between the Chamber and the small business community, the SBC acts as a valuable resource and “focus group” for Chamber leadership and staff. Members provide feedback on Chamber initiatives, programming, communications, and business priorities while helping shape strategies that better support small businesses across the region.

Through collaboration, advocacy, and shared expertise, the Small Business Council helps ensure the Greater Naples Chamber continues to provide meaningful resources, relevant programming, and impactful opportunities that empower small businesses to grow, thrive, and succeed.
