Micro Business Council

The Micro Business Council (MBC) of the Greater Naples Chamber is a dedicated community designed to support and empower Collier County’s smallest businesses. Created specifically for micro-enterprises with one to 10 employees, the MBC provides a collaborative environment where entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, start-ups, home-based businesses, and small teams can connect, learn, and grow together.

Unlike the Small Business Council, which primarily provides strategic advisement to the Chamber, the Micro Business Council is built as a hands-on support network focused on the business owners themselves. Members participate in monthly learning opportunities, collaborative problem-solving, and peer-to-peer connection designed to strengthen business operations, increase visibility, and foster long-term, sustainable growth.

The MBC meets on the second Friday of every month and focuses on practical, real-world topics that directly impact micro-business success, including marketing and visibility, customer experience, financial foundations, operational efficiency, and smart growth strategies. The council also encourages collaboration among members through shared resources, idea exchange, and relationship-building opportunities that help businesses thrive together.

The Micro Business Council is an included benefit available across all Greater Naples Chamber membership levels, with eligibility reserved exclusively for businesses with one to 10 employees.

More than just a networking group, the MBC serves as a supportive community where business owners can gain valuable insight, build meaningful connections, and access practical tools and resources to help navigate the unique challenges of running and growing a small business.
