Professional Bio
Courtney Curatolo, Ph.D. serves as Vice President of Alumni Relations and Foundation Development for the Leadership Collier Foundation, where she is responsible for strengthening alumni engagement, advancing philanthropic support, and overseeing leadership development initiatives that help cultivate informed and engaged community leaders. A graduate of Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida, Courtney works closely with program participants, alumni, volunteers, donors, and community partners to further the Foundation’s mission of developing leaders who make a positive impact in Collier County.
Courtney brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership development, nonprofit management, economic development, and community engagement. She began her career with the Greater Naples Chamber and later served in leadership roles across New York and Florida, including Regional Director of the New York Small Business Development Center in Jamestown, New York, and Chief Executive Officer of Leadership Palm Beach County. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping individuals and organizations build their capacity to lead, collaborate, and create meaningful change in their communities.
A lifelong advocate for leadership education and civic engagement, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University, a Master of Public Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a Ph.D. in Research Methodology and Educational Leadership with a focus on Adult and Community Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Her doctoral research examined how leadership development programs empower individuals to become more engaged in public service and community leadership. Born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Naples, Courtney is proud to serve the community she has called home for most of her life and to help advance the Leadership Collier Foundation’s impact throughout Collier County.
