Gulf Coast Business Bank (GCBB) was founded from Bill Blevins’ vision to restore relationship-focused community banking in Southwest Florida. With the region’s rapid growth and the decline of local banks through acquisitions, Blevins and a group of community leaders saw an opportunity to create a bank centered on personal service, strong relationships, and support for local businesses and residents.

Backed by an experienced Board and organizer group that invested more than $5 million toward the bank’s required capital, GCBB became the first new community bank established in Southwest Florida in 12 years as of 2022. Serving Lee and Collier counties, the bank combines experienced local bankers and personalized, competitive financial solutions with modern digital “Bank Anywhere” technology.
