Farm City BBQ - 2026

Sixty-nine years ago, Collier County’s farmers had a bad crop year. Naples business leaders threw a barbecue so farm families wouldn’t go hungry at Thanksgiving. The next year the farmers returned the favor — and a tradition was born.

The Farm City BBQ still does what it did then: it puts the people who grow our food and the people who run our businesses at the same long tables, the week before Thanksgiving. Lunch is served up by our own elected officials. Bring an appetite and plan to shake a lot of hands.

Over the years the BBQ has raised more than $600,000 for local nonprofits, with the focus squarely on Collier County youth.

This year the Greater Naples Chamber will be there in force — and so will Youth Leadership Collier.

The Leadership Collier Foundation is one of this year’s beneficiaries, and a portion of every ticket sold goes directly to its programs — including Youth Leadership Collier, which brings Collier County high school students together to learn how their community actually works.

It only counts if you select it. When you buy your ticket, choose Leadership Collier Foundation as your beneficiary at checkout — the proceeds from your seat then come back to LCF.

Come early, and wear your boots. Doors open at 11:30 and the lines at the grill are part of the fun. Cowboy hats and boots are the unofficial dress code — wear them. Lunch service runs until 1:30, and the Chamber will have a presence on site, so find us and say hello.
