NextGen Speaker Series: Scott Lutgert

The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with the NextGen™ Speaker Series for its 2027 season, bringing together business and community leaders to foster leadership, mentorship, empowerment and philanthropy.

Scott F. Lutgert has been a central figure in Southwest Florida's growth since 1970, leading the creation of landmark projects including 17 luxury beachfront high-rises in Park Shore, six high-rises in Bonita Bay, premier golf communities such as The Estuary at Grey Oaks, and the mixed-use Mercato in North Naples.

His business portfolio spans real estate, construction, title and brokerage, with developments including The Village on Venetian Bay and The Promenade at Bonita Bay. He is one of the founders of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, which has raised more than $366 million since 2001 for children's healthcare and services.

He chaired the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees for twelve years and has chaired the Naples Comprehensive Health board since 2020. He holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Chicago, and was named the 2026 Naples Daily News Outstanding Citizen of the Year.

The NextGen Speaker Series is an invitation-only program. Admission to live events is included with NextGen membership, along with access to the full library of past speaker recordings and year-round networking opportunities.
