Capital Wealth Advisors Expands Services with Acquisition of Neptune Wealth

NAPLES, Fla. (October 5, 2026) — Capital Wealth Advisors (CWA), the Naples-headquartered independent advisory firm, today announced it has acquired Neptune Advisory, LLC (dba Neptune Wealth), an advisory firm serving clients in Florida and Wisconsin. The combination adds two advisors to CWA’s platform and deepens the firm’s in-house tax planning capabilities, pairing Neptune’s tax-focused advisory approach with CWA’s investment, estate planning and insurance services.

For CWA, the acquisition is as much about capability as geography. Neptune built its practice around coordinated tax and financial planning—treating the two as one function rather than separate handoffs. Folding that in gives clients, in Naples and across the firm's other markets, specialized support for executive compensation and family-office-style coordination, without sending that work outside the firm.

Joining CWA effective immediately:

Mark Strey, CFP®, EA, joins as Senior Vice President of Tax & Financial Planning. Strey works with high-net-worth individuals and families on coordinated tax and financial planning, with particular focus on executive compensation arrangements. He brings more than a decade of financial services experience. Most recently he served as President of Neptune Wealth. Before that, at Annex Wealth Management, he advanced from Associate Wealth Manager to Senior Wealth Manager in the firm’s Private Client division, where he helped build the group and shape how it served its most complex relationships. Working alongside attorneys, CPAs and other specialists, he developed plans that treated investment management, tax planning and estate design as a single process rather than separate conversations. Strey began his career at Mutual of Omaha as an insurance agent and independent financial advisor. He holds a Master of Taxation and a Graduate Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He is a CFP® professional, and also holds the Enrolled Agent (EA), Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC), Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations.

Jason Kaplan joins as Advisor of Financial Planning and will continue to work with individuals, families and businesses from the Tampa market. Kaplan most recently was an advisor with Neptune Wealth, where he built personalized financial plans for clients and helped shape the firm's investment strategies. Before that, he was a Financial Planning Analyst at Continuum Wealth Partners in Tampa. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Finance from the University of Florida, a Series 66 registration and a Florida Life and Health Insurance License.

“Neptune is a strong fit for how we work with clients,” said William N. Beynon, President, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Capital Wealth Advisors. “Families should not have to assemble tax planning, investments, estate planning and insurance from four different places. This combination puts more of that under one roof — and it adds advisors in Tampa and Wisconsin as we continue to grow our footprint.”
