Greater Naples Chamber names Lake Michigan Credit Union Q3 2026 Business of the Quarter

Business of the Quarter, Chamber News,

The Greater Naples Chamber has named Lake Michigan Credit Union as its Business of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2026, recognizing the organization’s commitment to strengthening the Collier County community through financial education, volunteerism and support of local nonprofits and community initiatives.

Each quarter, the Greater Naples Chamber, in partnership with the Collier Board of County Commissioners, recognizes a local organization that has enhanced the community through financial contributions, volunteer involvement and active participation in programs and initiatives that help create a better quality of life for Collier County residents.

LMCU has served the Collier County community since 2016 and today it operates five locations throughout the county, employing approximately 75 people. In addition to providing financial services, including mortgage lending and resources for first-time homebuyers, LMCU works to improve financial wellness and support individuals and families throughout the community.

The company partners with Boys & Girls Club of Collier County and Champions For Learning to provide financial wellness courses for local youth. LMCU team members regularly volunteer with St. Matthew’s House mobile food distributions. The credit union has also sponsored the Greater Naples Chamber’s Youth Business Fair for the past three years and supports workforce development through its involvement with SHRM Naples.

LMCU is active in the community throughout the year, supporting local events and charitable initiatives including the Chamber’s Wake Up Naples and Patty Baker Humane Society Naples’ Run for the Paws. Through its annual Band Together campaign, LMCU also raises funds for children’s hospitals in the communities it serves. “Lake Michigan Credit Union demonstrates the kind of community commitment we are proud to recognize through the Business of the Quarter award,” said Kristina Park, president and CEO of the Greater Naples Chamber. “From helping young people build strong financial foundations to supporting local nonprofits, workforce initiatives and community events, LMCU and its employees continue to invest their time and resources in making Collier County a stronger place to live and work.”
