The Greater Naples Chamber will host its seventh annual Youth Business Fair on Saturday, April 11 at the Coastland Center Mall, 1900 Tamiami Trail N. The event begins at 11 a.m. and is free and open to the public.

The Youth Business Fair is a one-day event that celebrates young entrepreneurs from across Southwest Florida, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their businesses and sell their products to the community. Participants range from kindergarten students to college-level entrepreneurs, all gaining hands-on experience in running a business.

Attendees will have the chance to support these student-led ventures, interact with emerging business leaders and shop a variety of unique, locally created products.

“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders in Southwest Florida,” said Kristina Park, president and CEO of the Greater Naples Chamber. “The Youth Business Fair gives students the opportunity to develop real-world business skills, explore their interests and gain confidence as they bring their ideas to life.”

Participants will also compete for awards across multiple age groups, including Elementary, Middle, High School and University levels. Additional honors include Most Original Idea, Highest Business Potential, Most Creative Presentation and Community Impact. One standout participant will also have the opportunity to sell their product at Sunshine Ace Hardware through the Sunshine Award.

Community members are encouraged to attend, bring cash and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Lake Michigan Credit Union is the presenting sponsor. Additional sponsors include Biz Kidz USA, Coastland Center, Collier County Public Schools, Florida Gulf Coast University, LOCALiQ Naples Daily News and Southwest Florida CEO.
