Gulf Coast Marketing brings local roots and hands-on go-to-market expertise to the region
Gulf Coast GTM, the go-to-market practice of Gulf Coast Marketing (GCM), is sharpening its focus on Southwest Florida, helping businesses find the right customers, reach them with a clear message and turn interest into sales.
For owners looking to win more business locally or expand into a new market, the team brings strategy and execution together. Its approach starts with a focused pilot, giving clients a practical way to test what works before investing further.
The firm brings together co-founders Kevin Springer, Camden Springer and Mike van der Poel. Kevin and Camden’s father-and-son partnership adds a multigenerational perspective, combining experience building businesses with hands-on expertise in data, automation and AI-assisted marketing.
Kevin co-founded Proposify, an online proposal platform that grew into an international business serving more than 8,000 companies worldwide. The software helps sales teams create professional proposals, see how prospective customers engage with them and secure electronic signatures to close deals. He brings that experience building and scaling a software company to Gulf Coast GTM’s work with local businesses.
His Southwest Florida business roots reach back to 1997, when he co-founded Manatee Coffee Company with Bryan Lich. Away from work, Kevin can be found playing music at venues around Southwest Florida. Camden, a former NCAA Division I sprinter at the University of North Florida, focuses on identifying ideal customers, lead generation and marketing automation.
“The fundamentals of marketing haven’t changed, which is understanding your customer and communicating value clearly,” said Kevin Springer. “But the tools have. We’re helping Southwest Florida businesses use AI, automation, and data to compete at a much higher level.”
Gulf Coast GTM helps clients decide which markets and buyers to pursue, build targeted outreach, improve website conversions and organize sales follow-up. It also connects marketing activity with sales outcomes, helping owners understand which efforts contribute to revenue and where to invest next.
Alongside this go-to-market work, Gulf Coast Marketing provides websites, search engine optimization, paid advertising and email automation for Southwest Florida businesses and nonprofits. Clients work directly with the founders, supported by specialist partners as needed.
