STARability’s STAR Studio unveils holiday gift collection and “Voices of Joy” album

Member News,

STARability Foundation’s STAR Studio is welcoming the holiday season with the launch of its festive gift collection and “Voices of Joy: A STARability Holiday Album.” Featuring handcrafted merchandise and music showcasing the talents of STARability participants, the seasonal offerings provide meaningful ways to shop local and give back while celebrating the holidays.
Located in the Naples Design District, the STAR Studio is part of STARability’s Social Enterprise program, providing individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities opportunities to learn, work and create. More than 100 participants, known as STARs, engage in paid employment, internships, vocational training, volunteer opportunities and creative classes, gaining hands-on experience and developing valuable workplace skills while sharing their talents with the community.
The Studio’s holiday collection offers hand poured candles in Enchanted Evergreen, Sugared Pistachio and Sparkling Snowflake scents, along with festive ornaments, tea towels, greeting cards and note cards featuring participant-made artwork. Shoppers can also purchase the Studio’s 2027 wall calendar, showcasing the artistic talents of STARs throughout the year.
Adding a musical touch to the season, “Voices of Joy” highlights participants performing a collection of seasonal favorites, including “Jingle Bells,” “Frosty the Snowman” and “Feliz Navidad.” The album offers another way to celebrate the creativity of STARs, whether shared as a gift or enjoyed at holiday gatherings.
STARs will also show off their musical talents as participants in the organization’s Music Academy carol at the STAR Studio holiday celebration on Dec. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m.
“Each product at the STAR Studio reflects the creativity, dedication and individual talents of people of all abilities,” said Cayla Childs, director of social enterprise for STARability Foundation. “Seeing their artwork and creations become gifts that are shared with loved ones is incredibly rewarding for our STARs, their families and our team. We hope the community will embrace the opportunity to shop with purpose this holiday season.”
Proceeds from purchases support STARability’s innovative, transformative programs and services for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping expand opportunities for learning, employment and community engagement.
The STAR Studio is located at 106 10th St. N. in the Naples Design District and is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Gifts are also available online at STARabilitystudio.square.site.
