Youth Haven encourages final ticket purchases for Cherish the Children Luncheon on Nov. 5
Youth Haven is encouraging community members to purchase tickets for its annual Cherish the Children Luncheon, taking place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road. The event will feature nationally recognized child abuse prevention advocate, TEDx speaker and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Sasha Joseph Neulinger as keynote speaker and an exciting collection of luxury auction items and exclusive experiences. Funds raised during the luncheon will provide critical support to children and teens who have experienced abuse, neglect and homelessness.
Tickets are $500 per person and available at cherish.youthhavenswfl.org.
“This luncheon is an opportunity for our community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and teens who need us most,” said Linda Goldfield, chief executive officer of Youth Haven. “Every ticket purchased and every contribution made helps us provide the safety, stability and therapeutic care these young people need to heal, grow and thrive.”
Themed “Home, Hope & Healing,” the special event will offer guests a powerful perspective on the lasting effects of childhood trauma through Neulinger’s personal journey. Drawing from his experiences as a survivor of childhood abuse, he will share how finding his voice became an important part of his healing process and highlight the transformative role of compassion, support and advocacy in helping others overcome adversity.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on an exceptional collection of live and silent auction offerings, including a Balmain Jolie Madame Medium Quilted Top-Handle Bag, a Gulf-front getaway at Navarre Beach and exclusive golf experiences at The Club at Olde Cypress, The Old Collier Golf Club, Royal Poinciana Golf Club and The Golf Club at Crown Colony. Additional items include private yacht experiences, curated wine and champagne baskets, and dining experiences at popular restaurants such as Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Capital Grille, Connors Steak & Seafood and Warren Naples.
Adding to the excitement, Youth Haven is offering a chance-to-win drawing for a Chopard Happy Sport timepiece valued at $5,630. Open to both luncheon attendees and the public, drawing tickets are available for $50 each or three for $100. The winner will be selected at the conclusion of the luncheon on Nov. 5.
The luncheon is led by Event Co-Chairs Carlos Escoto and Dr. Irene Gladstein, alongside Honorary Chairs Amanda and Ian Schmoyer. Together with the event committee and Dream Sponsors Christopher Alan Homes, the Schmoyers, the Fitzgerald Family Foundation and Elizabeth A. Star, their efforts are bringing the community together to support Youth Haven’s mission of providing home, hope and healing to youth in need.
Proceeds from the Cherish the Children Luncheon will benefit Youth Haven’s comprehensive programs and services, including therapeutic care, educational support, life-skills development and enrichment opportunities. As Collier County’s only provider of emergency shelter, at-risk shelter and homeless teen transitional living services for abused, neglected and homeless children and teens ages 6 to 21, Youth Haven provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can begin to heal and build brighter futures.
