The Greater Naples Chamber is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven leader to serve as its next Vice President of Membership and Corporate Partnerships. This key leadership position will play an integral role in advancing the Chamber’s mission through membership growth, investor engagement, sponsorship development, and strategic partnership initiatives.

The Vice President of Membership and Corporate Partnerships will lead the Chamber’s membership growth and revenue strategy, with a strong emphasis on new member acquisition, high-value Investor memberships, and sponsorship sales. The role will oversee the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding to long-term relationship development—while helping drive the Chamber’s Strategic Plan goals and financial sustainability.

This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments to deliver a premium member experience that strengthens the Chamber’s impact throughout the business community. 

Position Details:

  • Reports To: President & CEO
  • Employment Type: Full-time, exempt position
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary starting at $75,000+, plus performance-based commission and comprehensive benefits package
  • Department: Membership
  • Interrelationships: Chamber staff, members, Investors, Ambassadors, and external partners

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Sales & Investor Growth

  • Drive new member acquisition across all membership tiers
  • Focus on Investor-level and high-revenue memberships
  • Serve as lead salesperson for prospective members, Investors, and sponsors
  • Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline and referral network
  • Develop strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
  • Lead onboarding conversations that communicate ROI and engagement opportunities
  • Support member retention, upgrades, and long-term value strategies
  • Develop membership targeting guidelines to attract sustainable businesses

Engagement, Retention & Experience

  • Build strong relationships with members and Investors
  • Promote membership upgrades, sponsorships, and add-on programs
  • Support first-year retention and proactive renewal efforts
  • Ensure timely resolution of member inquiries and concerns

Campaigns, Data & Reporting

  • Partner with Marketing on membership campaigns and lead generation
  • Manage membership benefit packaging and communications
  • Track and own Strategic Plan KPIs related to growth, revenue, retention, and engagement
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and prepare monthly performance reports

Events & Committees

  • Represent Membership at Chamber events and engagement activities
  • Support Ambassador outreach and Member Success Orientation
  • Serve as staff liaison to designated committees as assigned

Performance Metrics

  • Net new membership and Investor revenue
  • First-year member and Investor retention
  • Strategic Plan KPI achievement and reporting accuracy
  • Quality, efficiency, collaboration, and timeliness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in membership sales, business development, or related field
  • Proven success in revenue-driven, relationship-based sales
  • Experience translating strategic plans into measurable growth initiatives
  • Exceptional networking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Advanced CRM and project management platform experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Additional Requirements:

  • Use of a personal vehicle for business travel
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • Mileage reimbursement provided

  • Standard business hours with flexibility for events, meetings, and community engagement.
