Job Description:
Under the direction of the President & CEO, the Vice President of Leadership Collier Foundation Development & Alumni Relations represents the Leadership Collier Foundation (LCF) and supports all LCF Alumni Association events and initiatives. The Vice President leads fundraising and development efforts to strengthen financial support for LCF, including cultivating donors, sponsors, alumni, and community partners. The Vice President is also responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the LCF Advisory Council to advance key strategic goals and initiatives and plays a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between LCF, the Chamber, and the community.

INTERRELATIONSHIPS
Collaborates with the CEO, all other Chamber staff, LCF Advisory Council, community stakeholders, and LCF alumni.
Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy, Development, and Financial Management
- Collaborate with the CEO to align with the LCF financial strategy, ensuring fundraising goals and event budgets are met.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies, including donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, planned giving initiatives, and annual membership campaigns.
- Lead donor stewardship efforts, including personalized outreach, recognition events, and impact reporting.
- Track and acknowledge donations through CRM system updates and donor correspondence.
- Work closely with the President & CEO, board, council members, and partner organizations to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Oversee program-related expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Assist in securing revenue through tuition collection, alumni contributions, event fees, grants, and sponsorships.
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities, overseeing submission and reporting processes.
Alumni Relations & Community Engagement
- Work with the CEO, LCF Advisory Council, and Alumni Association Chairs to advance LCF initiatives and strengthen collaborative efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen alumni engagement, relationships, and ongoing connection to LCF.
- Create and maintain a framework for measuring the impact and effectiveness of LCF programs and alumni engagement initiatives.
- Oversee alumni engagement activities, including mentorship, volunteerism, leadership development opportunities, and alumni events, working in collaboration with the Associate Director of Events on event planning and execution.
- Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to expand opportunities for alumni involvement and enhance the relevance and community impact of LCF programs. Vice President Leadership Collier Foundation Development & Alumni Relations GREATER NAPLES CHAMBER | LEADERSHIP COLLIER FOUNDATION
- Lead LCF special-event strategy and programming, including the LCF Alumni Celebration Lunch, in collaboration with the Associate Director of Events and Sponsor Engagement on event planning and execution.
- Develop stakeholder investment and stewardship opportunities, using creative approaches to engage individuals and organizations and provide meaningful value and connection to LCF.
- Lead and strengthen the Matching Needs program, connecting alumni with community needs through volunteerism, mentorship, and leadership opportunities while managing program communications, grant-related activities, data, and impact tracking.
Communication & Marketing
Collaborate and coordinate with the Chamber's Marketing team on LCF communications and marketing efforts to ensure alignment with organizational branding, messaging, strategy, and priorities in the following areas:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase alumni engagement and contributions and promote LCF programs, events, and initiatives.
- Coordinate and create leadership-related content, including the monthly alumni newsletter, LCF blast emails, articles, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Manage LCF Alumni social media pages and maintain consistent, engaging communications with alumni and community stakeholders.
- Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the alumni directory and CRM system.
- Lead the data collection and production of the annual LCF Impact Report.
LCF Board and Advisory Council Support
- Serve as the key driver for the LCF Advisory Council, providing leadership, coordination, and administrative support to advance meetings, strategic priorities, and initiatives.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of Advisory Council members and foster ongoing engagement in LCF's mission, priorities, and initiatives.
Alumni Events, Awards & Recognition
Collaborate and coordinate with the Associate Director of Events and Sponsor Engagement to plan and execute LCF alumni events, awards, and recognition initiatives, including:
- Plan and execute annual alumni awards and recognition, including:
- LCF Volunteer of the Year
- LCF Legacy Leadership Award (Individual & Business)
- LCF Distinguished Alumni Award
- YLC Distinguished Alumni Award
- Manage alumni association committees and associated programs, including:
- LCF Marketing Committee
- LCF Matching Needs Committee
- LCF Events & Engagement Committee (e.g., Wine Down Wednesdays, Annual Holiday Party, Behind-the-Scenes Education Events)
- Leadership Lunch Committee
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
Leadership Programs Oversight
- Supervise the LCF Programs Manager, providing strategic direction and performance evaluation in coordinating Leadership Collier, Associate Leadership Collier, and Youth Leadership Collier programs (LC, ALC, YLC) as well as Engage Collier.
- Ensure seamless integration between alumni engagement and program development to strengthen the LCF network.
Leadership Qualifications & Competencies
- Demonstrated success in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, alumni or stakeholder engagement, program development, and community relations.
- Proven ability to provide strategic leadership while effectively translating organizational goals into actionable priorities and measurable results.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and consistently follow through on commitments and deadlines.
- Demonstrated people-management skills and emotional intelligence, with a leadership style that sets clear expectations, encourages open communication and collaboration, provides effective coaching and feedback, builds trust, and holds team members accountable.
- Experience successfully engaging and working with volunteer leaders, boards or advisory councils, donors, alumni, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience with budgets, fundraising goals, financial tracking, data management, and CRM systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to effectively learn and utilize technology and systems necessary to support the work of the Foundation.
- Experience with the Leadership Collier Foundation programs is preferred but not required.

This role is expected to understand and practice the LCF vision and mission and translate these values consistently to class members and alumni.
